I help people feel their own sensuality and beauty

Hello! I'm Carmina

I fell in love with intimate portraiture when I understood it wasn't about being sexy, but about feeling empowered. Intimate photography changed my life. It brought together all my interests as a woman and as an artist, and gave me a purpose.

I worked in Australia, Denmark, Italy and Argentina before settling in Barcelona. In 2025 my work received a Silver at the Australian Photographic Prize while I was working at a studio in Sydney.

VÉRTIGO was born from a simple idea: everyone deserves to see themselves through the eyes of art. I want you to see your best version, the one that already exists but is sometimes invisible or unimaginable.

The name comes from a line in Milan Kundera's The Unbearable Lightness of Being, and from my own vertigo, all the things that scare me. At some point I understood that the things you want, you have to do: the reward is huge. I see unmatched beauty in doing something even while afraid.
